Weekend – Care & Support Assistant

Location: Talbot View, Bournemouth (BH10 4HG) Pay Rate: £12.50 to £12.75 per hour Hours: Saturdays & Sundays (with every other weekend off)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Care & Support Assistant to join the compassionate team at Talbot View, our modern dementia residential care home in Bournemouth, with strong ties to the Ensbury Park Community.

About the Role:

At Talbot View, our weekend team is dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of our residents. We’re looking for individuals who are naturally compassionate and understanding, with a genuine desire to provide exceptional person-centred care.

Previous care experience isn’t essential! If you’ve been in a customer service role, or have experience helping out in your community, you already have valuable skills. We’ll provide a full induction and training programme to support you every step of the way.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Delivering excellent person-centred care.
• Supporting and encouraging residents to remain as independent as possible.
• Regularly checking on residents, assisting with moving and positioning as needed.
• Providing personal care, including washing and undressing, when required.
• Building meaningful relationships and offering companionship by truly getting to know our residents.
• Working as part of a team to create a co-operative, friendly, and welcoming atmosphere in the home.
