This is a substantive consultant position within our esteemed Centre for Clinical Haematology, offering UK visa sponsorship for eligible candidates.
We are looking for an exceptional Paediatric Haematologist to contribute to our advanced haemato-oncology services, focusing on cutting-edge treatments including leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma, and bone marrow transplantation (BMT).
Key Expertise We’re Looking For:
- Paediatric Haemato-oncology Specialist
- Experience in Malignant Haematology: AML, ALL, CLL, lymphoma, myeloma, BMT
- Proficiency in Advanced Therapies: CAR-T, immunotherapy, targeted therapies
- Commitment to Research & Innovation in haematology and oncology
Your Responsibilities & Benefits:
- Lead inpatient and outpatient haemato-oncology services
- Participate in regional MDTs and specialist clinics
- Supervise junior medical staff and contribute to medical education (undergraduate/postgraduate)
- Opportunity for involvement in non-malignant haematology (thrombosis, haemostasis)
- 10 PAs Job Plan (8 DCC, 2 SPA), flexible to subspecialty interests
- 1:5 non-resident on-call rota (Category A, 5% supplement)
- NHS Consultant Salary Scale applies
Essential Requirements for Consultant Haematologist:
- Full GMC registration (or eligibility within 6 months)
- CCT/equivalent in Clinical Haematology
- FRCPath and MRCP (or equivalents)
- Proven expertise in malignant haematology and multidisciplinary care

Desirable Qualifications:
- Research publications or clinical trial experience
